The drive from the Grand Canyon to Bryce around the east side of the canyon is a little under 300 miles by numbered highways, so you should be able to do it comfortably in 6-7 hours The drive back to Palm Springs, although longer than your starting drive to the Grand Canyon, will take less time since it is a straight shot down I-15 into the LA

As you probably know, it is about 3550 miles round trip by the shortest possible distance between the south rim of the Grand Canyon and Atlanta Driving at close to the speed limit, but allowing sufficient time to re-fuel your car and your bodies, rest, etc you will need to be on the road a minimim of 62 hours
