To the best of my knowledge all Toyota hybrid cars CUVs are eCVT You'll have to focus on a specific model year and check the specs for it AKA: MI-Silver-HL MI-HL - If I don't respond to an ignorant or asinine post I'm ignoring you - not agreeing with you
- How does the eCVT work on the Hybrid? | Toyota Nation Forum
MG1 is a Generator and MG2 is a motor for low gear eCVT operation That is electric power flows from MG1 to MG2 And for High gear eCVT operation MG1 is a Motor and MG2 is a Generator That is electric power flows from MG2 to MG1 Interesting in that the eCVT changing gear ratio, allows the Atkinson ICE to run at it's maximum efficiency RPM

- How your Toyota ECVT transmission really works
I would say this is the Gen 4 Toyota Hybrid Drive but our Gen 5 should be similar they totally redesigned the electric motors to make them more compact efficient for Gen 5 the 2023 Prius was the first Gen 5 released Before my 2025 Camry I had a 2017 Prius Gen 4 hybrid
- New Highlander hybrid system and ecvt | Toyota Nation Forum
The eCVT on Toyota's hybrid system is extremely reliable It's pretty much the same transaxle that they've been using across their entire hybrid lineup In fact, I would say that the eCVT transaxle is more reliable than the 8-speed automatic the gas powered models use I wouldn't be concerned about the eCVT whatsoever
- 2025 Camry coasting transmission question. - Toyota Nation Forum
With the hybrid eCVT there is no such thing as "downshifting" because there are no discrete gear ratios With the 5th Gen hybrid Toyota has tried emulating geats with S shifting where they run MG1 at discrete speeds The B node predates this, all the way back to the Gen 1 Hybrid Am am not familiar with auto glide
- What is an eCVT? How does it work? Here is the answer
There is also little wear The Ford eCVT architecture is different from Toyota where the MGs are on the same axis Fords' MG2, the traction and regen braking device, axis is parallel to MG1 and the eCVT and connected by a gear train It's considerably bigger and designed for higher power
- Cross Hybrid Transmission - Toyota Nation Forum
For the Toyota hybrids 2017-2022 the ECVT transmission model is P610 for newer 2023-2024 I believe it's P710 same improved The driver side sticker should tell you the model of it like so; Save Share
- CVT Life-span worries - Toyota Nation Forum
The very different eCVT design (especially from Toyota), on the other hand, seems like a much better investment has proven much more reliable durable over time (as the Pruis has shown for many years now) - but those are limited to hybrid EV vehicles only
- Where does the Camry Hybrid eCVT come from? - Toyota Nation Forum
I'm curious about the P710 eCVT Does anyone have this sticker info from their 2022-2023 Camry hybrid? I know the West Virginia facility has manufactured the P810 for the hybrid Highlander and Sienna (plus Rav4 Prime) for the last few years, but it is unclear whether or not the P710 is also manufactured there
