Housing Stability Programs Stable housing provides the foundation on which individuals and families build their lives MIFA provides rent and mortgage assistance to eligible households to help them maintain their housing and avoid eviction, shelter placement for families who do become homeless, and rapid rehousing services to connect eligible homeless families with permanent, stable housing
