I got a 34 on my ALEKS math placement test and they told me at orientation unless I plan to go into a math oriented field I would never have to take math again I’m not sure what components go into deciding that but my only credit towards math would have been the passing score I got on my AP Statistics exam

The minimum score that my kids wanted on the ALEKS Math Placement Test was a 76, because that is the score that tests into the highest initial math placement (Calculus I) There have been students selected as Karsh STEM scholars in the past who did not test into the highest initial placement My 2 scholars received scores in the high 80’s low 90’s range on the placement test 2 Likes show

I recently took the ALEKS math placement test to determine what my first college math course will be, and I received a score of 69 My college requires a score of 46+ to take College Algebra, and a score of 61+ to take Calculus Although my score qualifies me to take Calc, I feel far more comfortable starting with College Algebra

<p>I used a website called ALEKS to study for a Pre-Calculus placement test, and got a decent score on it I just finished 3 semesters of Calculus using MyMathLab, and I would say ALEKS is a good comparison
