Looking for some input here I have been preparing myself to attend a CTI program and only recently (through this forum actually) realized that this is potentially unnecessary due to the academy program I'm wondering what the pros and cons are as far as taking the academy route vs the CTI

Just a quick question about LUAW I work in a twr with no GC so LUAW isnt an option for me I was asked by a pilot about helicopters being able to LUAW due to their takeoff abilities even though we have no GC Just wondering if there's an exception to the LUAW rules for helicopters
