alright so my dad bought a fly rod at a garage sale the other day and it seams really nice but i have no Idea what kind of rod I'm looking at price wise I was wondering what you guys thought about powell rods? does anyone have a model df80-1 btw its a 4-5 weight

For a long time that was all I used on my bamboo rods But someone at the Metolius show turned me on to the Hardy Premium DRy Fly lines so I ordered a DT4 from Bruce Herndon up in Malo and I absolutely love it! I would give it a slight edge over the Cortland 444 Peach I think the line has less stretch and less memory and lays out real nice
