- Separation of lead guitar track? - Steinberg Forums
I have been trying to find a tool that will separate the lead guitar track in instrumentals like stuff by The Shadows, Ventures, etc , and SpectraLayers was recommended So, I tried out the demo version Unfortunately, it just came up with the same issue as others I’ve tried, and that is that it can’t separate a lead guitar track from the other guitars So, for example, if I do Unmix Song
- Nacho Les Paul Conversion has arrived | The Gear Page
I did reply in the "Nacho Guitar" thread, however I thought this may grow legs views on a thread of it's own if you are interested in this project My Nacho Burst arrived Friday, #15 Billy Gibbons and Redd got early ones and a few other notables I bet I wanted to add, having a few of Nacho
- Not a single improvement to guitar notation? - Steinberg Forums
Again It looks like dorico team has very little interest in that I personally have reported problems with the chord diagrams and library several times Chord Diagrams Library is a total mess, full of useless chord shapes that no-one will ever use and it’s impossible to delete them Transposition of chord forms along the neck is full of bugs Most of the shapes you create are not available
- Best Favorite Replacement Necks? | The Gear Page
You can order flat or quarter sawn, the specific neck back profile and get the fret wire size you want Only if the winter stays sub-zero for months and the furnace mostly never turns off do I ever have to adjust the truss rod They do an oiled finish and and just naked wood; I had my guitar tech spray my naked neck a vintage tinted nitro
- When to use linear taper or audio taper pots? | The Gear Page
You can see that by looking at them And god only knows why the tolerances are so broad in a component where the actual value is quite significant Honestly, if I get a smooth pot of the right value for my guitar, I don't even fight for a proper taper anymore I'd love to see some startup put the "big boys" out of the pot business
- Guitar strumming playback - Dorico - Steinberg Forums
Does anyone have any bright ideas regarding guitar scrumming input playback? Currently, it sounds a bit computer-ish when I have a certain riff notated and I’m not sure if there’s an effective way to improve the feel A couple of libraries allow you to hold down notes in a chord with separate key switches to trigger upstrokes and downstrokes - this is great I’d love to be able to make
- Using rhythmic slash notation in ONE bar only
Can anyone help? I am having trouble creating a single bar of rhythmic slash notation and not affecting the entire layout I just want one bar of guitar that shows the chords to be played in a specific rhythm, but all attempts so far have resulted in either regular slash notation for that bar, or changing the entire layout to rhythmic slashes
- Best cab and speakers for blues. - The Gear Page
Make sure you get a true Guitar speaker, or possibly an Organ speaker I actually prefer 10" speakers better for a small combo amp, particularly for Blues They articulate the midrange well, and are still pretty dang loud 8" works very well also, just lacking in deep bass when you play by yourself
