MOA at 50 yards will be half of what MOA is at 100 yards Therefore, MOA at 50 yards is half an inch (1 2 = 0 5") The same applies to 25 and 75 yards 25 yards is 1 4 of 100 yards, and therefore MOA @ 25 yards is 0 25" At 75 yards, you have 3 4 of 100 yards and therefore MOA will be 0 75" I hope I explained that well enough Regards, Dylan

The difference between IPHY and MOA is 5%, the difference between 25 MOA and 36 MIls is, what scopes actually adjust in, is 11, which is 1 2 the bullet width for most calibers We cannot hold the difference, we are talking 1 4 MOA or 1 10th Mils, the difference is minimum, but since errors accumulate 5% is worse than 11"

35 MOA base > 10 5 MIL 40 MOA base > 12 MIL A 25 MOA base is a little uncommon, most are 0, 20, 30 40 MOA IF you go with a 30 MOA (9 MIL) base you MAY or MAY NOT be able to zero properly at 25 or 50 yards, it will be very close with the chosen scope A 20 MOA (6 MIL) would be safe, BUT you will lose a little UP adjustment compared to a 25

Rightly or wrongly a few electrons are a lot cheaper than paper and ink I do distinctly remember when the BMW MOA Board refused to allow a volunteer to build and host a web site for the club because "half the members" don't even have computer or internet

Also MOA is actually both what you pointed out Huskey and what Sniper pointed out It really could be either, drives me nuts when someone uses a shooter MOA turret also sometimes referred to as IPHY, but has there solver or working dope cards set to MOA Thats a real issue with the two MOA systems on many scopes today
