- GWR Delay Repay experience - RailUK Forums
Both my last delay repay claims have been with GWR - the last one (last week - points failure+bridge strike) paid out in 2 days, though it was a faff taking screenshots of the e-ticket to upload, and having to manually copy in the ticket reference

How long does GWR take to respond too Delay Repay claims? I made two claims on the 15th of October One is still 'in progress' One was rejected the day after, but I appealed I think they made a mistake as the connection I missed the connection I had to make and that connection was also delayed It's also 'in progress' right now
- GWR Delay repay query - RailUK Forums
If you are wondering why didn't do 3 claims, GWR delay repay rejects the (already used) booking reference for 2nd and 3rd passengers I used their WhatsApp and the operator sent an email to claim dept (they seem to know who to contact, but there is no way of contacting them direct), and they got the extra passengers added
- Delay repay questions. - RailUK Forums
I've recently signed up for Delay Repay on the GWR website I did a return trip from Reading to Oxford on 7th Jan that was delayed above 15 minutes in each direction The trip going up to Oxford was GWR, the one coming back was using Crosscountry I've inadvertently logged a claim for the return trip using Crosscountry on the GWR Delay Repay site
- Dispute with GWR over Delay Repay compensation - RailUK Forums
GWR's Delay Repay policy is certainly more generous than the minimum required by the NRCoT and the PRO - it has a lower threshold for claiming compensation and the percentages awarded are higher Nevertheless, a return ticket is one ticket even if it is issued as two portions, and condition 32 2 is clear that "claims" are limited to "the price of your Ticket"
- Delay repay and missed connection - RailUK Forums
Not really a legal argument, but the way Delay Repay works is the first operator in the itinerary to cancel the train is the one responsible for the Delay Repay So as soon as your connection was missed, GWR became liable for all the delay repay regardless if TfW had lateness or cancellation later in the itinerary
- GWR - cancelled trains and Delay Repay - RailUK Forums
Being one hour late, I submitted an online Delay Repay form to GWR This has just been rejected for the reason that my train was only 59 mins late Without actually saying so, it implies GWR thinks the later train arrived 1 min early at Fareham
- [RESOLVED!] GWR: delay repay or refund? - RailUK Forums
My history of dozens of past refund and Delay Repay claims from GWR includes at least one very similar experience: Returned to origin as delays incurred during the journey rendered the whole trip pointless Applied for a full refund which was then serially rejected because the outbound ticket had (inevitably) been through a barrier
