The Finale manual seems to use the word highlight exclusively for selecting text or music for subsequent operations So maybe they use a different word for the background coloring I'm talking about

Possibly just making XML and reopening in Finale would work Yeah, you might want to actually test that last assertion, before running it through Sibelius! MakeMusic's standard support response to a corrupted file is to export it as XML and then reimport

Does Finale allow to write a tremolo on a single note (simple repetition of the note at a given frequency) or must on actually write the notes in 16th, 32th etc? The TGTool plug in seems unable to handle that
