What's "under the hood" is a game engine heavily modified to do something it was never really intended for (Unreal Engine 3 was not specifically made for MMOs, the original Dev crew made that happen, and it has been further modified over the years)

The Server and unreal engine 3 may have its limits regardless of powerhouse consoles and PC Honestly I don't know but we all seem and experiences lag when it comes to many players in one spot during developers in game events

James gun said nothing can use his stuff unless it's running in unreal 5 so that would mean WB would invest back into the game engine to get ready for 2025 with James guns phase 1 release

This is just only one of the many reasons most people are frustrated with the outdated Unreal Engine used Lots of Unreal 3 Engine games lack a true fullscreen feature to this very day
