yea, the ninite for ubuntu linux seemd a bit redudant to me, you can literally just run 'sudo apt-et install program1 program2 program3" and it will install all of them, and this exact command will work on a lot more systems than just ubuntu, anything with apt-get as its package manager

So basically Ninite is saying, "We won't let you install stuff to a different location because Microsoft says don't redirect Program Files," while ignoring the fact that they can easily redirect installers in a fully supported way I can't imagine anybody wanted Ninite to automatically redirect Program Files Here's the correct way to handle this:

Presumably Ninite Pro does the same thing except the software vendors receive a portion of the fee Ninite charges to use Ninite Pro (again, presumably) Adobe asks Ninite to remove Adobe Flash from the free side so as to force people to go directly to Adobe com to download Flash (where the added bloatware has a better chance of being installed)
