as cascade fire equipment begins our 25th year in providing firefighting equipment to our customers, we would like to take this opportunity to highlight our growing manufacturing operation.our sewing department has over thirty modern sewing machines, which produce the finest wildland clothing products in our iso certified sewing facility. the clothing is certified to meet the latest nfpa standards.the machining department is equipped with the latest model computer numerical controlled (cnc) lathe, milling machine and router. this allows us to machine many of our own products, such as pumps, valves, nozzles, drip torches and many other items. because we have our in-house manufacturing supported by a qualified engineering department, our products meet the highest standards.the metal fabrication department is equipped with a 10 foot shear, 130 ton press brake, notching machine and metal bender. with this equipment, we can manufacture many of the sheet metal products that we sell, such as toolboxes, compartment boxes for flatbed trucks, and slip-on components.the slip-on department produces only the highest quality units. our highly trained staff and manufacturing expertise, assisted by our engineering department, allows us to produce slip-on units that are in a class by themselves.all of the products that we manufacture are backed up by quality, delivery, and after-market support. in addition to our own manufactured products, cascade fire equipment is also proud to distribute many major fire equipment lines, such as scott breathing apparatus, north american fire hose and cairns helmets.
