adam klipple is a composer|pianist|organist|keyboardist, who leads an assortment of his own groups: drive-by leslie, sneak, and the masters of tashkent. in addition to his personal endeavors, he is involved in stage and recording projects with joe bowie and defunkt, and michael ray and the cosmic krewe. his credits also include performances with the sun ra arkestra, josh roseman, peter apfelbaum, and smokey robinson. he has appeared at such renowned venues as the barbican center, blues alley, and the knitting factory, and at international jazz festivals such as the new orleans jazz & heritage festival, the umbria jazz festival, the free jazz festival in rio de janeiro, the detroit jazz festival, and the ottawa jazz festival.
