Redfin is a very efficient way of buying a house, it’s easy to get in and see things, their offer system is good, and the agents are usually experienced but like any other brokerage, some agents are great, and some agents suck You should research the agent rather than just assuming everyone is the same there

Been looking at homes online for a while now, mostly via Zillow, and have recently tried Redfin out I like Redfin's app much better, and I find their search filters to be slightly more robust, but I'm confused by Redfin insofar as when I search for homes, there are large parts of the country that are "grayed out"

Redfin is pretty close to breaking even on 1 5% listings, so it's safe to say that it is more expensive than you think to actually market in sell a house

Redfin does not factor certain demographics in their values intentionally On one hand, I get it- it is the way to “eliminate” value changes based on demographics of a neighborhood within a city but it’s just not intellectually honest because people DO care about this and it shows in values
