On Friday I started taking the prescribed Prednisone at 40mg a day (doctor prescribed 60mg for 2 days then 40mg for 2 days then down to 20mg for 2 days then down to 10mg for 2 days) but my dad said 60mg would be to much and had me start at 40mg instead

In my case, there is always a huge rebound effect after taking prednisone, and sometimes the eczema came back much worse than before taking it Be extremely careful of this medication, especially if you get prescribed a 10 day course with high doses, 60, 40, 20 mg taper
