Proving that the army owes you money is on you, but if you have sufficient proof, DTS DFAS can handle most things in the realm of travel pay while a pay inquiry can handle everything else Back when I was a wee reservist butterbar doing weekly orders because my unit was too cheap to pay weekends despite the travel, I didn't get paid for one week

In the financial summary page in DTS you can move the reimbursement between GOVCC and EFT If you use your GOVCC for meals then you would want to do this as M IE is paid out to EFT

You can't book IDT Travel in DTS (or even use your Govt Travel Card) for drills The reservations for drill is always done outside of DTS when booking Your unit will give you an IDT letter from the Commander showing you're eligible

Dont travel if your dts isnt approved, simple as that Otherwise be ready to be on the hook for 3k Unless you have something in writing from the commander authorizing you to travel then youre putting yourself in a precarious position What if your unit doesnt have 3k in their travel fund to allocate to your travel? Then youre SOL regardless of what the reason to travel was

DTS takes 2-4 weeks to even look at the voucher, and then hope that you did it right and it didn't get kicked back which will start the 2-4 week clock over again
