A link or sheet to basic algebra equations that everyone should know? I'm kinda rusty with math and forgot pretty much everything So I kinda wanna revise and memorize the basic equations and move from there
- Since it’s back to school time, here are useful algebraic equations . . .
Understand how algebra works, and it will come to you The only panels to keep around are the logarithmic properties and factoring examples, but the log stuff you will also memorize eventually, and the more complicated factoring examples you won't see often in the future
- Can someone please explain the basic rules methods for solving . . .
I'm trying my best to study the materials and i'm finding it difficult to solve algebraic equations I'm a visual learner so i've been watching youtube videos While they've been helpful, I learn better when i'm told why i'm multiplying, dividing, etc an equation
- eli5 How does solving algebra equations work? : r . . . - Reddit
In a traditional algebra class you are solving equations by using properties that numbers obey For example 3+5=5+3, and this rule would be true for any pair of numbers
- Can anybody help explain how an algebra equation works in a . . . - Reddit
That misunderstanding is often the biggest obstacle to learning equations So for example 4x + 3 = 2x+7 means that 3 more than 4 times x and 7 more than 2 times x is the same thing
- An Algebra Calculator! It shows the step-by-step instructions!
In my experience, math often has "classes" of problems and once you figure out how to solve one problem in that class, you should be able to solve all others For example, once you figure out how to solve y 3 + 10 = 4, you should be able to solve 3 = -10 - y 2

I'm here because I love math, and I want to get into grad school for pure math, but my grades are really worrying, and my GPA is not excellent to begin with The average for the class right now is 50%, which is a failing grade, and the instructor is not planning on curving it

The word “algebra” comes from the title of a textbook written in the 800s by mathematician al-Khwarizmi and means something like “reunion of broken parts”, which I think refers to combining all references to a variable in order to solve an equation
- Rank the math courses you took in terms of difficulty
Math difficulty is mostly dependent on your professors I think we can all agree Calc 2 has the highest density of "new" problem solving methods to figure out and master, in addition to the Trig identities
