- I just watched movie called Tumbbad and its a great horror movie . . .
I've watched and seen many horror movies and personally am not impressed with much of the new movies coming out But after randomly choosing this movie to watch I wanted to share it with the sub if it hasn't been mentioned already It's a Bollywood film without the normal Bollywood tropes Not perfect but it's damn good It may be a popular movie but I had not heard of it until last night

Tumbbad is certainly not a masterpiece or THE BEST movie as people claiming 4 years back when movie was released, some people (including some of my friends) were posting on social media, "it was too scary, I couldn't sleep at night, I got nightmares till fee nights etc )"

Hastar was cursed to eat 'anaj' and Vinayak knew about it Regarding the end, you can have your own interpretation about the metaphors but I like to think Hastar was a metaphor for human greed, and as human greed multiplied with capitalism so did Hastar, Vinayak and his son were a mirror image of Hastar or vice versa
