In 1997 Steve Zaya and I brought an idea to the towns to transform the RR into a linear park for residents of Lynnfield and Wakefield The project was inching forward until today's progress

☀️Update☀️ The Lynnfield Wakefield Rail Trail has been pushed back on the State’s Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP)* from FY2024 to FY2026, which means construction could start in 2024 with the project finishing in 2026 I don’t know the reason (s) why the timeline has been pushed back
