Home Depot and Lowes are kind enough to offer rental services, but thats not their primary business I'm sure lots of folks use them and have no problem I just know that my one time with Home Depot was frustrating, not because of the truck itself, but more the lady running the rental area

A big one feels a lot like Home Depot, some of the smaller ones have less to offer A big Homebase is also similar, although I think a bit more emphasis on home “stuff” instead of hardware and DIY Wickes is kind of in the same vein - I feel a bit more focus on building supplies than stuff like tools, but I haven’t been in one in a while

Hi all, I really want to work full time at Home Depot but only as a garden associate since I come from a floral retail background and heard it’s one of the best positions at Home Depot I’ve searched on the Home Depot career webpage and for my locations it doesn’t explicitly say “Garden Associate” but it says cashier, merchandising, support, lot associate, and so I assumed locations

The Home Depot store employee who set everything up told us that their carpet subcontractors were great, but he has a harder time recommending the local hardwood and tiling subcontractors because of customer issues (also those jobs are less forgiving than carpet) Also, you can ask HD who they use as subcontractors and google them for reviews
