As I mentioned - this is really strange because the old Ally accounts will update without any problems, however, Quicken will not allow you to add any new Ally accounts By the way, I also added another account with a different bank - and that came across and was updated without any problems

Ally Bank has been recognizing and downloading accounts fine for a few years I had to change my password recently, and started receiving errors I tried resetting the online update and it showed all of the accounts but said they could not be added to Quicken Then I disabled each account (3 money market and 2 CDs) and tried to add Ally again

Now when I click on update Ally Bank, it takes me to the Ally Bank website From there I would need to individually download update each account individually Quicken no longer updates the Ally Bank accounts automatically My account is set to web connect There is a statement on the update page that says there is a new connection method

I was unable to update my accounts in Quicken with Ally Bank I then went to the Ally website and was unable to sign in Their tech support advised me that a recent merger affected the log in User ID if the character “ ” was in the User ID Ally fixed my issue and I was able to log into both of my accounts on their website

Everything should be back up and running by 6 AM ET " It isn't obvious, but it is there and needs to be dismissed Perhaps that is the pop-up the CC-508 is referring to Unfortunately, the pop-up reappears each time you log into Ally, even if you read it, dismiss, and log-off So we may have to wait until after the Saturday update

BTW I could always log into the website with the old username password and, now, with the new username and password For the other folks that had the issue can you tell me how it was addressed?
