Our only choices (next town over actually) are Walmart and Hobby lobby WE have to drive over an hour away to get to a Joann's There is a nice quilt shop but of course you are mainly going to find quilt things there When I wanted decorator fabric for something I went to Hobby Lobby and Hancock's but ended up ordering online

Hobby Lobby had 3 3 4 yards the other night and bought all of it I need to start planning for the next one before I'm finished with the one I'm working on I've made a lap postcard for my husband and a lap for a nephew and a queen for a niece, stars and I like making stars, they were fun Now to layer all of them and get them ready to straight

I have searched JoAnn, Hobby Lobby, M*QC, Connecting Threads, and Fabric com Nobody has any solid black Kona yardage in stock Several sites have pre-cuts, but I need it for the border of a quilt, so yardage is the best bet for me 😥 What is it about black fabric that makes it so scarce? It's not toilet paper! 😒

Re: Buttons - good source??? Thanks everyone WalMart had nothing nearby, and the closest Hobby Lobby is almost an hour away And there aren't any Hancocks in northeastern NY But I will check Hobby Lobby next time I am down there I guess you could say I'm looking to build my button "stash"

At Hobby Lobby I got the material 30%off shown in the picture and some board to put in the bottom of my totes and purses So it was a good day and I also stopped in Sams while I was over there Went by my self and enjoyed my shopping trip

In this town we have a Jo-Ann Fabric, Walmart, Target (dinky tiny one), Porters Craft and Frame and just got a Hobby Lobby It would be awesome if I could buy one locally and thus use it right away but if there's better selection or deals online I can wait

In my town we also have a Hobby Lobby a Hancock's, which I hear is going out of business There are 2 other fabric stores within 15 mi of me, but their yardage is more expensive

I now go to hancocks, hobby lobby and LQS because I got fed up with Joann's doing this to me and on a couple of occasions I told the manager I didn't like their deceiving practices and he could keep the items that I would go pick up the same items at hancocks where they were upfront with their pricing and coupons
