Streamelements also has SE pay in some countries for streamers with over 100 followers so you can avoid using paypal entirely I'm not sure whether scummy business practices factor into your decision at all, but there are also these aspects that make it worse for the end-user

true Hello! So I started streaming on Twitch recently and I was using stream elements for a recent follower overlay and follower goal overlay on my stream and it was working fine the first day But the next it stopped working properly It doesnt update my recent follower or follower goal anymore Even in the dashboard on activity feed its not updating I tried disconnecting it from my twitch

I recently switched from streamlabs to streamelements and one major difference I noticed is that streamelements lacks the transparent chatbox It was a really great option to have that on SLOBS but on regular OBS, it's not so easy (Although I don't think it's impossible) Any tips on how to set up the transparent chatbox without SLOBS?

SE live (obs+streamelements plugin) let you use a bot account to "speak" your commands instead of the standard streamelements bot Same can be done with all sorts of local hosted bots (I always recommend streamer bot) However if it's actually a moderator and not a bot account that's just a very active moderator doing a very fast job

I use OBS with the streamelements plugin because its got built in activity, chat, and stream title stuff some people use Streamlabs because it's easier to use than OBS' freedom
