- Cabela’s brand finally done? - In-Depth Outdoors
Cabela’s has way more tackle than any retailer near me And it’s not even close The Rogers location has 30 aisles of stuff and it’s all in stock I am primarily an in-person shopper, not online Fleet Farm’s pegs are half empty Scheels is the only one that might be close, but their tackle is only out for half the year
- Cabelas is terrible - General Discussion Forum - In-Depth Outdoors
I bought outdoor gear from Cabela’s since forever, had a black card, spent thousands of dollars there NO MORE Cancelled the card since the merger with Bass Pros Products are lower quality, sales people are dumb and product availability is crappy Some time went by and I gave them another chance Big mistake I bought a pair of boots in two sizes to be sure of correct fit I tried them on
- Cabelas Re-Arm Kit (PFD)?? - In-Depth Outdoors
Assuming it’s a 33 gram then it’s either a bayonet type (this is what my Cabela’s guardian tournament vests are) or the threaded cylinder (my dad’s Cabela’s ?? vest have these) Easy confirmation by looking at the current deployed one, if it’s got a black plastic bottom it’s the bayonet type, just threaded metal end is the other
- Cabelas vs. Scheels - General Discussion Forum - In-Depth Outdoors
Cabela’s only displays seasonal items, just like all the rest So are you saying that I’m the only person looking to buy open water muskie, walleye, and bass tackle from October – February? That certainly can’t be true Cabelas keeps ALL of their open water tackle out year round at the Rogers store Its not removed, ever
- No Seriously, I’m Done With Cabela’s - In-Depth Outdoors
Cabela’s has been a joke for tackle for the last 5-10 years I lost a tackle box (long story) and went to the Roger’s Cabela’s thinking I’d be able to replace most everything I needed in one stop Ended up leaving there with just a new tackle box, that I spent a few hundred dollars filling at Fleet Farm and my favorite local shops

- Cabelas depth master trolling rods - Walleye Sauger - Walleye . . .
I’ve used the Cabela’s Depth Master rods for years to pull boards and I have no complaints Like Joel said you don’t need a real heavy rod Medium action is pretty standard for Planer board specific rods You need some backbone to pull the wieght of the board but you also need some sponge to absorb the board surge when it gets windy I would recomend the Cabelas 9′ telescopic
- Is the Cabelas brand gone? - In-Depth Outdoors
I understand Bass Pro bought Cabelas a few years ago, Im wondering the the “Cabelas” brand is pretty much gone now There is still a Cabelas website, but Im not finding much on there that actually still has the Cabelas name on it Granted it may still be the same clothing or product and just rebranded, but I always preferred the Cabelas name over Bass Pro, maybe its because Cabelas seemed
