I recently also had the problem with redeeming my points on Desktop "There was a problem with my account " After that I tried redeeming my points on the Rewards App on my Xbox and it worked perfectly fine! So try out using the Rewards App if you have the same problem

I joined Microsoft rewards a while ago, I think back when it was still bing rewards but I'm not postive Anyway, I was wondering what is the best way to get points! On my Xbox I mapped the screenshot button on the controller to open the Rewards app This way when I click a tile that launches YouTube for 5 points I can hit that button and get right back to the Rewards app

I get that Rewards is likely low priority for Microsoft in terms of support but it almost seems non existent Virtually impossible to get any kind of non automated response from them I stick to my part of the deal in following terms and conditions of the programme and then treat customers like this
