9 Actually, there is a way to show a PNG file in a terminal in text-mode, using picture-tube: You can look at the project on GitHub The image is of course an approximation of the actual image, given the fact that the smallest pixel is a character - try to have a look at the result in a text editor, you will see a huge number of color codes
