One of the many reasons I haven't migrated to Windows 11 is that I absolutely love TaskbarX Today I discovered that there is a TaskbarXI It is still very much a work in progress Has anyone here who has tried Windows 11 installed TaskbarXI? If you have, do you like it?

RoundedTB is great for more visual customization, but I am ok with sticking to TaskbarX

I've tried both and stayed with TaskbarX Rainmeter version It's simple to use, just load the skin and your taskbar is transparent and the icons are centered I haven't used Translucent TB for awhile I know it has more settings if your need more customization You can now get TaskbarX in the Microsoft store

GitHub hosts many different kinds of projects and we can't tell you whether it is safe or not The intended audience is developers, so people that want to look at the source code, make modifications or somehow use it That all being said it seems a somewhat popular project, the best you can do is ask the author or in he community for that specific project Given I found one of the "correct" versions GitHub has 300 different versions of it (forks), I couldn't even tell you "yes" or "no

Aside from the other app people are saying in the comments, there's also "TaskbarX", which you can get on GitHub You can control opacity, icon position, animation, etc with it and it's free
