- Adding another state to ADP workforce now for payroll taxes - Reddit
The website hasn't loaded for me all day and I can't schedule a phone call with ADP Until February 9th which doesn't cut it We are expanding to Texas (currently in Louisiana) and we hired our first Texas employee I am very familiar with multi-state payroll and payroll taxes but I don't know where and how to set up a jurisdiction in ADP to make sure the multi state tax filings are done

Since I am not in HR, or an ADP Admin, I am not allowed to contact ADP support for some reason, and our HR department is technologically illiterate so I highly doubt they will be able to resolve it on there own Anyone know why this happening or how to fix it? We use ADP Workforce Now

Workforce Now Next Gen - anyone else? We just implemented ADP WFN Next Gen and the system itself is NOT at all what we were sold on It has been clunky and there are features that aren’t even “turned on” yet that are still in the user interface

Check out The Bridge in ADP, theres alot of useful info there as well as a bunch of useful downloadable guides You can access it from your admin dashboard up in the right hand corner next to your initials I also find that the reporting dashboard provides alot of useful insight for snapshots of data

I don’t have too many managers complaining about WFN because we’re smaller so right now I handle most HR processes for them But as the person doing the setup, day-to-day, and troubleshooting, I complain about the lack of competent and timely support

There is a ton of free training available through ADP Workforce Now They also have The Bridge which is an online community forum There are also numerous YouTube tutorials Having used many different HRIS Payroll systems I find ADP on of the easiest to adopt - very user friendly and intuitive

Like we have at least 10 new hires over the last few months that have stipends kicking in at 90 days after hire and they're getting missed because we have no good tracking system In ADP workforce now there are mapped and custom dates and it looks like that might be what I need to set a trigger at 90 days Anyone use it for this?

Do you have a dedicated ADP rep you can speak to? You should be able to go to People > Time Off > Policy assignments to add the policy with a past start date Assign the policy then go to Time Off > Time Off Balances for earned adjusted if you need to add additional hours off onto the policy Might be a manual process but shouldn’t take too long
