I have the same problem here with VLC 2 0 5 on win 7 : I Select a list of random medias to play (a list of songs, ), and want to play it on random It does play some on random, but then before the whole list is effectively played, it stops

So I re-installed the latest VLC as of today (vlc-3 0 17 3-intel64) for good measure, and tried again But no luck -- still the instant 100% CPU spike I would really love to solve this as I prefer to VLC over any other media player, but cannot use it with this issue

I'm not new to VLC but have really only used it as a basic media player until today After a bit of playing around I found how to save off individual tracks and either convert them to MP3 or save them as the uncompressed audio data However I have only found how to do this one track at a time and I have to manually create a folder for the album name and manually name each individual file

Have an older version of VLC Media Player installed - v2 2 1 when I go Help>Check for Updates, it brings up a screen stating there is a later version available, but after clicking Yes to Download, it looks like it Starts to Download, but then it crashes Thinking this may be Blocked on our Corporate Firewall or another security application

Playback to TV goes always smoothly, only when I resume playback after having it paused for more than a few seconds, playback resumes for a few seconds, then stalls for about 10 secs, and then resumes playback scrambling the screen, like it's only playing the mutations (blurry blocks) and forgot about the last fullscreen

I'm using the current version of VLC in Win 10 Home I won't get into the varied problems, rather I thought I would ask the question that's annoying me today: I had two buttons - jump forward and jump back - on the task bar (or whatever you call it) of vlc, now they're gone How do I get them back?
